The prospect of its development affects the whole biulding materials industry prominently. To explore the new domain of the ground calcium carbonate powder grinding process, it sketches the current situation and trend of ground calcium carbonate market at home and abroad ， and analyses the advantages and disadvantages between the traditional and modern grinding processes. It makes the comparison and the analysis of the respective performances and characteristics between the JVRM vertical mill and other ground calcuim carbonate mills. Through the elaboration of the working principle of JVRM mill, its application in the ground calcium carbonate powder grinding industry as a new standard of energy conservation and environmental protection is proved.
