PAGE 1 3obq-t893-fi46 外贸英语的语言特点及其翻译 近年来,随着经济全球化的发展,外贸英语在国际贸易中的重要性日益凸显,其翻译也备受关注。外贸英语属于特殊用途英语,它的语言有其独自的特征,而目前现有的诸多翻译标准并不完全适用于外贸英语翻译,因为外贸英语的翻译标准有其特殊性。外贸英语和通用英语有着语言的一般共性,但在使用范围、语体特征、词汇意义等方面又有所区别,具有自身的特点,一般的翻译理论并不完全适合外贸英语翻译。因此如何根据外贸英语的自身特点,确定外贸英语的翻译标准,既有宏观的理论指导价值又有切实的实践指导意义。本文从外贸英语的特点出发,总结出了外贸英语的翻译标准。在本论文中,作者首先对外贸英语进行了简要的介绍,然后从词汇、句式及文体三个方面对外贸英语的特点进行分析,继而回顾了国内外具有代表性的有关翻译标准的理论,并在此基础上,通过实例分析,总结论证了自己的外贸英语翻译标准,即“忠实、精确、习惯、得体”。With the development of economic globalization, foreign trade English (FTE) becomes more and more important in international trade and its translation has been attracting more and more attention. Since FTE belongs to English for Special Purpose (ESP), its language certainly has its own distinctive features. But the current translation criteria cannot suit FTE translation completely for FTE translation has its own unique features. FTE shares the common similarities with common English, but it still has differences in such aspects as use scope, stylistic features and lexical meanings, owning its own unique features, so general translation theories cannot be directly applied to FTE translation. Therefore, it is of theoretical value and practical meaning to establish translation criteria of FTE on the basis of the unique features of FTE. On the basis of the features of FTE, the present thesis summarizes translation criteria of FTE. The thesis firstly gives a brief introduction to FTE, and then analyses its features and reviews the representative translation criteria at home and abroad and finally sums up translation criteria of FTE through case analysis: faithfulness, exactness, customariness and appropriateness. 一、外贸英语的语言特点 　　外贸英语与普通英语不同。它的语言严谨、简洁，使用精确的词汇和固定的结构来传达准确的信息(Foreign Trade English and ordinary English. Its language is precise, concise, precise vocabulary and a fixed structure to convey accurate information.)。 　　1.词汇特点。使用专业词汇和固定搭配，在外贸翻译中指从普通词汇转换而来的词汇。有些词在不同的背景下有不同的含义。更重要的是，即使同在外贸英语的环境下，有些词也显现出不同的含义。外贸英语中有许多固定搭配与习惯用语，在翻译时需注意积累词组的固定搭配，如果不能准确记住某
