ChineselinguistslikeHuZhuanglin(1994,1996),ZhuYongsheng(1995,1996,1997)andZhangDelu(1994)mainlymadecontributionstothestudyoftextualcohesion.
课题研究目的：
ThispaperisfirstlyintendedtodefineEnglishidiomsandanalyzethefeaturesofthem.Itthenexploresthecohesivefunctionaftercarefulanalysisanddiscussion,attemptingtoarousetheconcernofusingidiomsappropriatelyandhelpreadersmakefulluseofthecohesivefunctionformunicatingmoreconciselyandidiomatically,thusmoreeffectively.
