Slot locations 1 to 3 can be configured as I/O Station slots to import and export tape cartridges. When the I/O Station is configured, the number of data cartridge slots is reduced to 15. When the library is configured with two tape drives, the physical library can be partitioned into two logical libraries. Each logical library has one drive and one magazine for storage slots.
