The genera l procedure for BC is put forw ard according to the principles, and the BC for reco rds is condu cted through choosing different g roup s of tmi e po ints in the rat iona l scop e of tmi e d iv id ing po ints. T he g round m otion p aram eters and the respon se spectra of d ifferent corrected records are com parat ive ly ana lyzed. The resu lts show that the accurate deter m inate resu lts could not be obta ined by u sing current m e thods, and in sp ite of the pr incip les for BC are satisfied, different resu ltsm ay a lso be obta ined. H ow ever, through the rat iona l BC, there are sm a ll effects on the ana lyzed resu lts of the g round m otion p aram eters related to accelerat ion, velocity and the respon se spectrum.
