* The ease of fabrication of DuPont? Corian? allows artists and designers to experiment every sort of technical and manufacturing solution – from the most conventional to the most advanced - to produce stunning sculptural one-off or limited edition pieces. * * * This is another example of backlighting DuPont? Corian? in this case RGB led were used. Paired with the proper technology we can achieve 16.7 million colors creating completely new atmospheres in the same space. The colour palette includes also a family of colours (called Illumination series) providing enhanced translucency. * * Abidjan congress center in Ivory Coast is a good example of exterior cladding with three-dimensional pattern exposed to harsh environmental conditions and important temperature variations. The image shows the renovation of the Palais des Congrès of the H?tel Ivoire in Abidjan (Ivory Coast), built 40 years ago. The renovation adopts innovative architectural traits, in terms of materials and technologies. The whole fa?ade (about 10 000 square meters) of the Palais des Congrès is made with special, customized panels in DuPont? Corian? high performance surfacing material selected for both its aesthetic and functional properties. The panels in DuPont? Corian? feature a complex three-dimensional decorative pattern (reproducing the relief motif of the original fa?ade in ceramic tiles)
