(not) to do sth. She said to us, “Please have a rest.” → 2. 表示叫、吩咐某人(不)做某事时用tell sb. (not) to do sth. The doctor said to him, “Don’t drink too much.” → 3. 表示命令某人(不)做某事时用order sb. (not) to do sth.。 The policeman said to him, “Go away.” → She asked us to have a rest. The doctor told him not to drink too much. Don’t do it this evening,” said Jane. →Jane asked Robert not to do it that evening. 地点状语变化: “Don’t make much noise here, boys,” said the teacher. →The teacher told boys not to make much noise there. Let’s do some exercises Change the requests and the commands into Indirect Speeches 1.“Shut up,”she said to him. He asked her to speak louder. She told her to try the lift. 4. “Don’t wait for me,” he said to them. She told him to stop wasting the time. 6.“Can you tell me a story?” the girl asked her father. She told him to shut up. 2. “Speak louder, please,” he said to her. “Can you speak louder?” he asked her. 3. “Try the lift,” she said to her.
