In case of defects in materials or workmanship we will, at our discretion, will repair or replace the camera free of charge. This warranty applies to the camera only. This warranty does not include batteries, software, or other accessories which have not been manufactured by Vivitar. This warranty will not be honored if the camera has been mishandled, damaged, tampered with, or altered by anyone other than the manufacturer. This warranty is extended to the original purchaser and is not transferable. Other than for the warranty herein, Vivitar is not responsible for loss, damage, loss of use, or inconvenience of any kind. A defective camera returned under warranty must be accompanied by a description of the problem and proof of purchase with the date of purchase clearly indicated. Prior to returning a product please contact Customer Service or Technical Support for an RMA (Return Material Authorization) and shipping instructions.
