To keep object at the fixed lower temperature than room temperature. Namely, to keep cold or freeze objects by absorbing heat from them at a specific place and discharging it at another place. For refrigerator example, temperature within refrigerator must be kept at about 2℃ to conserve foods fresh and in this case, heat quantity invading into it must be continuously removed to keep lower temperature than ambient temperature. Technology to achieve this goal is very freezing. . You will feel cool when dropping liquid (water, alcohol etc) whose status can be changed (liquid status? vapor status) on the back of the hands and then blowing them with your mouth. It can be also recognized as a type of freezing.
