Pride And Prejudice;I read the book called Pride and Prejudice two years ago. Pride and Prejudice is the masterpiece of Jane Austen. ;This work described emotional conflicts of a arrogant single young man Mr.Darcy with Miss.Elizabeth and single noble young man Mr. Bingley with Miss. Jane.;Mr. Bennet had five daughters . One day, a rich young man Bingley moved next to the Bennets. Mrs Bennet hoped one of their daughter could marry with the rich young man. ;He was gentle and sincere young man.Then at the party,Bingley fell in love with tender Jane immediately. ;However, Mr. Darcy, friend of Bingley, gave people the impression that he was inarticulate and arrogant man. But he gradually lost his heart to Elizabeth.;These four peoples love were hindered by the Bennets social status because they were not decent noble family. Elizabeth had prejudice on Darcy as well. This novel mainly described the changes of their relationship.;The main characters in this book are, Darcy, Elizabeth, Jane, Bingley. Each character has a distinct personality, but they cared for one thing that was true love. My favourite of the four were Darcy and Elizabeth, which are the hero and heroine of the novel. ; Darcy is a ingenuous and considerate man. He didnt defame others though he was defamed by Wickham. He never gave up even he was refused by Elizabeth several times. He also had courage to change his shortcomings and he helped Elizabeth but didnt ask for return. ;As for Elizabeth, she was honest with her feeling. At the beginning she held prejudice of Darcy. But she admitted her wrong when she realized she misunderstood Darcy. At last they were together.;I like the book very much after I read the book for the first time. The tone of the novel is humorous and ironical. The author disclosed the real faces of the so-called gentlemen and gentlewomen of their times, such as Mrs.Catherine and the cousin of Elizabeth. ;Austen also praised the people like Darcy and Elizabeth who pursued true love.;
