Play a video about traditional art forms. 2. Ask questions about these art forms, for example, What are theymade of? 3. Learn some new words and expressions Step 2: Presentation Ask students to read the passage quickly, and find out the three art forms mentioned in the passage。 Step 3: Reading strategy 1. Point to the title. Ask students the question: What are the common things? 2. Ask students to read the first paragraph and find out the common things. 3. Point out the reading strategy, and ask students to realize that a general introduction of the topic is usually followed by specific details and examples. Step 4: Reading for information Tell Ss the following is about three kinds of Chinese traditional arts. Fast Reading: 1. Read the passage and complete the chart below. Traditional art form Materials used 2. Check the answers. Careful Reading Work on 2c: 1.
