一般过去时 一、意义 过去某个时间里发生的动作或状态；过去习惯性、经常性的动作、行为； 二、过去时间状语 ago, yesterday, the day before yesterday, last week, last(year, night, month…), in 1989, just now, at the age of 5, one day, long ago, once upon a time, etc. 三.基本结构： be动词； 实意动词的过去式 四、动词过去式变化规则 1．一般在动词末尾加-ed，如：pull-pulled, cook-cooked 2．结尾是e加d，如：taste-tasted 3．末尾只有一个元音字母和一个辅音字母的重读闭音节，应双写末尾的辅音字母，再加-ed，如：stop-stopped 4．以“辅音字母+y”结尾的，变y为i， 再加-ed，如：study-studied 不规则变化，如： be: am/is—was are—were go—went come—came do—did have—had teach—taught buy—bought see—saw say—said keep—kept get—got spend—spent stand—stood 五、句型 1. 有be动词的过去时 肯定句：There was a supermarket in the center of the city before. They were very happy. 否定句：There was not (wasn’t) a supermarket in the center of the city before. They were not (weren’t) very happy. 一般疑问句：Was there a supermarket in the center of the city before? Were they very happy? 特殊疑问句：What was there in the center of the city before? 2. 谓语为实意动词的过去时 肯定句：He went swimming yesterday. 否定句：He did not (didn’t) go swimming yesterday. 一般疑问句：Did he go swimming yesterday? 特殊疑问句：What did he do yesterday? 练习 用be动词的适当形式填空。 1.
