完形填空 命题特点与解题技巧 四级完形填空共 20 题，考试时间为 15 分钟，占总 分的 10%。在一篇题材熟悉、难度适中的短文（约 200 词）内留有 20 个空格。 一、 完形填空命题三原则 用作完形填空的体裁影响着学生填空的效果；文章 的长短影响着学生的做题速度；还有文章中每个空格的 间隙越短，文章也就越难完成。 1、 材料的长短 一般 200 左右，如果一篇文章太短了，设计 20 个空 后，便不能提供足够的语言信息。如果文章太长，又给 考生阅读造成额外压力，而且在有限的时间内不能完成 阅读。一般说来，第一句或前两句是完整句，不设题， 目的是为了把考生引入语境，并让考生了解该文章的主 要内容。然后，从第二或第三句开始，每隔几个词设一 个空。 2、 空格的设置 平均每隔几个词就有一个空，最初，空的间隔是固 定的，但是，这种情况会造成有的空格太难，有的太容 易。而且，有些时候，某个空格可能是人名、地名、日 期、数字，这些空格就比较难填了。因此，为了使考生 比较科学化，所隔词数也就开始多样化，所空的词都是 要考查的语言点。 3、 材料的选择 所选短文多是原著，而且出于名家之手。名家一般 来自说英语的国家。使用经过修改的或者简化了的文章， 或非本族语言者撰写的文章，完形填空测试的信度和效 果会受到影响。更重要的是评分比较困难。名家之作， 以原文为正确答案；不是原作，正确答案难确定。 二、 完形填空五大考点 完形填空题的每个小题的考点是有规律的。而且根 据具体题目，测试的重点也各有不同。但大致可分为五 种类型。下面举例说明。 At one time Einstein traveled all over the United States giving lectures.
