[Abstract] Objective To explore the efficacy of acupoint application combined with moxibustion on opioid-related constipation in tumor patients. Methods From February 20XX to February 2020, 70 tumor patients with opioid-related constipation admitted to the oncology department of our hospital were selected and randomly divided into the treatment group(n=35) and the control group (n=35). The control group was treated with Marenrunchang-pill for relaxing bowels, while the treatment group was treated with acupoint application combined with moxibustion. After 10 days of treatment, constipation and clinical efficacy of the two groups were observed and compared. Results The total efficacy rate of clinical treatment for constipation patients in the treatment group was 94.29%, which was higher than 62.86% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P0.05). At the baseline, there was no significant difference between the two groups in symptom scores such as defecation frequency, defecation difficulty degree and defecation features(P0.05). Symptom scores in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant
