一、教材分析
本课内容是新标准英语(三起)小学五年级下册Module 6 Unit 1 I went there last year. 本课通过Lingling向Amy和Ms Smart展示她和家人的照片,学习如何介绍自己的旅行经历。
二、学情分析
本课的教学对象是五年级学生,他们对过去时态的学习已有了一定的基础,能够正确运用“Where/When did you go…?”等句型进行问答交流。
因此,教师在此基础上引出Travel这一话题,通过创设情境,进一步引导学生通过合作学习来巩固和拓展对过去式的表达及运用。
三、教学重难点:
重点:学习描述旅行经历的句型。
难点:能运用已学语言介绍自己以前的旅行经历。
四、教学过程:
Step 1: Warm up and lead in
Greeting: Hello, boys and girls. Nice to meet you. Welcome to English. Today we’ll Module 6 Unit 1 I went there last year.
First let’s sing a song Where did you go? (教师播放动画) Great!You sang beautifully.
Free Talk
T: Last holiday I went to Beijing. I saw lots of beautiful places. Where did you go last holiday?
S: I went to the park/the zoo/Rizhao/Wulian Mountain…
T: Wow,you had a lovely time last holiday.
[设计意图]此环节的目的是激活大脑和激活已学知识。把学生们的积极性调动起来,使他们积极参与到课堂学习中。
学习Activity 1
?T: Look, this boy is John. Where did he go for the holidays? Now watch the cartoon and answer the question.
播放动画,回答问题。
T: Where did he go for the holidays?
Ss : He went to the moon. (单词卡片学习moon,不同形式)
T: The moon is far away from us. How did he get there?
Ss: Used the computer.
?listen and say.
? Act it out: Boys are John, Girls are Amy.
T: Wonderful. John is a clever boy. He can use the computer to know more about the moon. So we can travel through internet and books.
[设计意图]:这一环节设计的目的就是为课文学习搭桥,降低难度。让学生在听、读、看的过程中对运用动词过去式描述过去有一个旅行初步的感知。
Step 2 Task Presentation
When we travel, we like taking some photos.
So today let’s make a poster about your travel.
[设计意图]:学习课前呈现本课的任务,让学生在任务的驱动下学习新知,最后运用所学新知完成任务,以达到语言运用的目的。
Step 3 Text learning
采用了“先整体—再局部—再整体”的方法来学习课文。
引导学生通过观察图片引出课文的情境内容:Lingling has got some photos about the travel.
2.看动画,带着问题整体感知课文。
Q:Where did Lingling go ? (播放课文动画)
(1)T: Who can answer?
S1/S2:She went to Xinjiang .
T: Look at this photo. Lingling went to Xinjiang.
T: Where is Xinjiang?
Look at the map of China. This is Xinjiang. It’s in the west of Chin
