Do a guessing game. Give students some information about wild animals then let them guess. (Elephant, South China tiger, Golden monkey) 2. Brainstorming. These animals we just mentioned are all endangered animals. Why are they endangered? 3. Play a short video to show ss one reason of wildlife endangerment. (Human hunting) And ask ss to brainstorm other reasons. (Food shortage, Pollution and Habitats destruction) Step 2: Fast reading Skim the passage quickly and answer the following three questions. (Task-based Approach)(2’) Who was traveling? How did she travel? How many places did she travel to? Find out where Daisy went and what animals she met to get the general idea of the passage.
