EQ, as defined in Howard Gardner’s book, is “the level of one’s ability to understand other people, what motivates them and how to work cooperatively with them”. The latest study implies that emotional intelligence or EQ, not IQ, has become the hot ticket for success in life. Thus, more and more individuals are interested in cultivating their EQ. To sum up the contents of our discussion, it consists of major qualities as follows: Self-consciousness—the ability to notice the flow of one’s feelings or emotions; Self-control—the ability to keep bad moods under one’s control; Self-motivation—the ability to mobilize positive feelings to pursue tough tasks; Self-regulation—the ability to delay impulse.FOR MORE Lead-in返回1. Self-awareness. The more knowledge students acquire about their emotions, the better pilots of their lives they will become.2. Enhancement of judgment.
