Teaching procedures
Step1. Lead-in
Play a game called “Polly says” with the students.
Here is a bird Polly. If I say “Polly says Stand up!” Then you stand up. If I say “Stand up!”, you don’t do that.
Step2. Presentation
1.Talk about my trip to Yancheng Park.
I saw the Kung fu show.
I ride a bike.
I enjoyed the music.
2. Ask students to answer the questions according to the pictures.
She drew a picture yesterday.
They bought clothes yesterday.
He checked the computer yesterday.
3. Weekend activities A
Millie is writing about what she and her friends did last weekend. Help her complete her article with the correct forms of the verbs in the box.

Step3. A guessing game
