When night falls, the lanterns is on, colorful neon lights dress the city extremely beautiful , neon is the protagonist of the night. There are a variety forms of the neon, and its working principle and the production process are not the same. PLC is famous for its versatility, ease of use, wide adaptation, high reliability, strong anti-interference ability, simple-programming .While in the auto-industrial control, especially in sequential control , it has more prominent advantages.The technology in the neon light with PLC controller relate to how to control the bright neon lights off, time of blinking and flow direction control, and the aspects of how to achieve fast, reliable, simple control has become the focus of consideration. The use of the Siemens S7-200 series PLC in the whole process to control neon lights will be introduced in this article, which includes the PLC features, programming, joints of hardware and the debugging of software with hardware.
