Based on the trade competitiveness index, the international market share index and the revealed comparative advantage index, this paper analyzes the current situation and countermeasures of the trade competitiveness of the textile industry in Guangdong Province, and finds that the trade competitiveness of the textile industry in Guangdong Province is strong, the international market share is high, and the relative international competitive advantage is obvious.However, due to the severe international situation, the trade war between China and US and the negative domestic situation, the labor cost of Guangdong Province remains high and the production power is insufficient. In order to reduce the cost, the developed countries intend to transfer the manufacturing industry to Southeast Asia.
