Period 1 vocabulary learning
Ⅰ. Pre-class
Greeting.
Autonomic learning(5mins):ask students to read the new words in the word list and read P14,the new sentence structure.
The whole class read the words together (2mins).
Students read after the teacher. (2mins)
Leading by pictures: use the pictures to show the words’ prononciations, usage, meanings and transformation of the vocabulary.
Ⅱ.The analysis of the key words(15mins)
1. plan1)动词,“计划;规划”。如:We’re planning to visit Hawaii this summer.2)名词,“计划;方案”。如:He made a plan of the study.【归纳拓展】plan to do sth 计划去干某事plan on doing sth 计划干某事make a plan of / for sth 制定……的计划【易错点提醒】plan的过去式、过去分词均为planned,现在分词为planning。记住要双写字母“n”。【即景活用】(1). Don’t plan ________ driving a car in Tibet, ________?A. to B. on C. of D./
2.Send 动词,“送;寄出”。如:She sent me a Christmas card.【易错点提醒】Send后常跟双宾语,既send sb sth或send sth to sb. 如:He sent a letter to his friend. = He sent his friend a letter.【即景活用】连词成句 e-mail, tomorrow, will, an, send, Jim, I_____________________________________________________3. ride1) 动词,“骑乘”,过去式和过去分词分别是rode, ridden. 2) 名词,“骑马、骑车或乘车旅行”。如:Shall we go for a ride in the car?【即景活用】他在骑一辆自行车。_________________________________________.
4. Camp
动词,宿营;露宿, camp的过去式:camped;现在分词:camping
比如:(1)We camped out for five days.
(2) She’s going to camping.
【即景活用】She is going (camp) for vacation.
5. Visit
(1)动词,看望;探视;访问
比如:I am visiting my grandmother.
(2)名词,看望;探视;访问
比如:--What are you doing for vacation?
--I’m going to pay a visit to my grandmother. (名词)
【即景活用】I am going to (visit) my teacher.
6. Babysit
动词,临时照顾(小孩子)
--What are you doing for vacation?
--I am babysitting my younger sister.
【易错点提醒】babysit 的现在分词:babysitting(双写字母t)
【即景活用】Are you (babysit)your little sister this Sunday?
7. Leave
动词,离开;出发, leave 的过去式和过去分词:left;现在分词:leaving. 比如:
(1)--When he left to school?
-- He left to school last summer.
【即景活用】 He (leave) Beijing for London. 他离开北京去伦敦了。
8. Famous
形容词,著名的;出名的,比如:
