This brings the total number of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) on the Candidate List to 163. Following ECHAs publication of the inclusion of an SVHC in the Candidate List according to Article 59(1) of REACH, additional information requirements may apply. They are based on the Article 31 (Safety Data Sheets) and on the Article 33 (Substances in articles) of REACH (see Note 1). According to our records, the above ExxonMobil product DOES NOT contain Candidate List substance that triggers an additional action (see Note 2) Any candidate list substance identified as being present in ExxonMobil products will be identified in the relevant sections of the EU Safety Data Sheet. The above ExxonMobil product does not contain candidate list substances at levels triggering obligations under REACH Article 31. Article 33 further requires suppliers of articles to communicate information on substances in articles that are listed on the Candidate List.
