Therefore, our class holds a heated debate on whether we should help the old in trouble. The results are quietly different. Most of the students are in favor of it. They think helping the old in trouble is a traditional virtue of Chinese, we should stick to it and develop it further. what’s more, if we turn a blind eye to those who need help, our whole society will become dangerous, and unsteady. While, every coin has two sides. There are still a part of students who are against it. They hold a view that if we help them but are misunderstood by them, they don’t want to put them into an awkward situation. Personally, I think it is necessary to help the old under the legal protection. Because the phenomenon will get rise to the people’s concern about their actions. As long as everyone is willing to do others a favor, the government should take measures to guarantee the profit of those who help others. Only by getting rid of the worry can people help them actively. In current days , with the development of society and economic ,series of social problems are appeared. In order to analyze this phenomenon three universities in Beijing jointly distribute an opinion poll about “Should you help the old when he/she falls down on the street?”. From the result of this survey, we know that 29.6 percent of the people are surveyed think that whether they help the old or not will according to the circumstance. The people who will help the old are the most ,they accounted for 64.8 percent of them. And also have 8.3 percent hold the view that the old shouldn’t be help.
