1. Teaching aims
a. Knowledge aims: (知识目标)
1.)学习掌握有关描述人的长相的词汇。
2.)学习掌握如何询问和描述对方及他人的长相的句型。
b. Ability aims: (能力目标)
1.)能够在日常生活询问他人的长相。
2).能够在日常生活中从头发,胖瘦,身材等方面来描述人的外貌特征。
c. Moral aims: (情感目标) 培养学生不要以貌取人的品质,让学生明白人的真正美丽在于内在的品质而不是外貌长相和衣着。
2. Learning importance: (学习重点)
重要词汇
1).单词:有关外貌长相的词汇。
2.)短语:look like, of medium build/height, a little bit
3. Learning difficulties: (学习难点) 名词前形容词的排列顺序。
step1 leading in
show a picture of the students’ head teacher and let the students try describing him. Lead into the topic: what does he look like?
Step 2. Presentation:
1.let three students to come to the blackboard . Ask: what does he look like? to teach the new words: short, be of medium and tall.
Show three pictures about Yao Ming, Pan Changjiang and Zhang Jie to teach the sentences : He is short. He is of medium and he is tall.
Ask the students to describe their own height.
2.Show the characters in the Journey to the West to teach the words heavy. thin and of medium build. Then let them to describe their own height and build .
3.Show Xi Jinping’s and Peng Liyuan’s picture to teach curly and straight. Show another four pictures to help understand the four phrases.short straight hair, long curly hair ,short curly hair ,long straight hair.

play a video about different haircuts and then play a game: design their own haicuts.
