Abstract: With the continuous development of social economy, water resources are seriously polluted. Through the analysis of the condition of groundwater and
source of pollution sources, the two control methods of source control and terminal treatment are introduced. Through the introduction and analysis of physical
treatment, chemical treatment and biological methods in terminal treatment, the future research direction of terminal treatment is pointed out. And put forward a way
to treat iron and manganese pollution in underground water by means of source treatment and terminal treatment. By varying degrees of contamination of
groundwater, a good method is selected to remove excess iron and manganese from groundwater.
