Greeting 2. Leading-in 教师活动：播放视频，提问：Answer the following questions: 1.What can you see in the video? 2.What impresses you most in the video? 3.If you want to know more about Peru,where can you find more information? 参考答案： 1.I can see many beautiful landscapes such as the Andes Mountains,the Amazon rainforest,Cusco city,Machu Picchu,Lake Titicaca and happy people as well. 2.The local houses,festival celebrations and local food impress me most. 3.To find out more about Peru,I could surf the Internet,use an encyclopedia,go to the library,or get some travel brochures. 二、While-class 教师活动：提问：Skimming the two texts about Peru and find out which text is a travelling brochure and why. 参考答案： The second text is a brochure.Because the title of the second text is “Travel Peru”,and there are four beautiful pictures and its language is more vivid.We can also find the words that persuade us to travel Peru.So the second text is a brochure.By comparison,the first text is an encyclopedia. 教师活动：Scanning for details Activity 1　Read the first text and fill in the table.
