Ss: Good morning, Mr/ Miss…. T: Nice to see you again. Ss: Nice to see you , too. Let’s chant. Free Talk. T: We are havin g an English lesson. I’m teaching you English. What are you doing now? S: We are listening to you. T: Good. Let’s begin our class. TPR. Say and do. Make a call, write an email, wash the clothes, clean the room. Step 2: Presentation Play a guessing game. Watch the video and think about a question. Who are they? What are they doing? Let the students answer the questions. S1: Peter is wearing a funny hat. He is telling a story. S2: Li Yan is singing a very famous English song. S3: Yang Ming is singing a song, too. Watch t he video once more, let the students check the answers. Then write the sentences. What is Peter doing? He is telling a story. What is Li Yan doing? She is singing a very famous English song. What are you doing? I’m singing a song, too. Understand the dialogue, read after teacher. How cool! What a beautiful song! What are you doing? Step 3: Practice Have a match. Talk in groups and act out the dialogue. Step 4: Language use. Design three scenes: birthday party, evening party and family party. S1: Hi, Ling ling. Welcome to the evening party. S2: Hello, Li Yan. What are you doing at the party? S1: I’m singing an English song. S3: Wow! How cool! What is Ann doing? S4: She is singing a chant with Mary and Jane. S1: OK. What are you going at the party, Ling ling? S2: I’ m dancing. S1: Good! Step 5: Assessment. Do the workbook. Step 6: Homework: Dramatic Play: The Monkey King seventy- two change. Monkey King acts all kinds of actions, let the students say the sentences.
