Tenor Drum Instruction Manual Thank you for purchasing TAMA Marching Percussion Tenor Drums. In order to maximize the performance of these unique systems, please read through this manual carefully before use and then store it in a safe place for future reference. Notes on the diagram - Adjustment Screws Detachable Legs Assembly - Center Positioned Toms Center positioned 6” or 8” toms can be positioned 2 ways by adjusting with an “L” wrench. Either high or low positions are an option. Specifi cations - 1. Adjusting Tom Angle By loosening 4 screws on the joint part, perfect positioning of tenor drums is made possible. Tighten the screws after adjusting the position. Caution, DO NOT over-tighten! 1. 2. Three Detachable Legs TAMA Marching Tenor Drums feature 3 detachable legs to prevent damage to the shells if placed on the ground. These legs can be detached by unscrewing them. Store the legs in a safe place while not in use. 2. Maintenance – Retighten screws, bolts, and nuts before starting each session. After each playing session, wipe the entire drum down with a high quality polishing cloth. It is advisable to use a drum cover during the performance outside to avoid bubbling of the shells covering material due to extreme weather conditions.
