That’s why the time cards were included in this pack ~ because talking about time in relationship with their day helps them make genuine connections. In case you’re wondering about educational standards: US Common Core: Grade 1 – to the half hour Grade 2 – to 5 mins (including use of am and pm) Australian National Curriculum: Year 1 – to the hour Year 2 – to the quarter hour I hope these interactive clocks encourage your little ones to be enthusiastic about time! © Liz’s Early Learning Spot for Playdough to Plato What you need A copy of this What’s the Time? printable in either color or black and white. Australian spelling version pages are at the end of this pack. •  Print the clock onto card (laminating optional) •  Print time cards onto card, cut and laminate. •  Print the numbers and arrows page onto card. •  If you only need black and white arrows set the printer to grayscale. A brad or split pin to attach the clock hands Laminating sheets laminator Scissors Glue stick or tape Dry erase markers to write times on laminated time cards Small ring to link time cards together Putting it together 1.  Cut 2 slits along the dotted lines on the digital clock. 2.  Make a small hole in the center of the analog clock. 3.  Cut along all dotted lines on the number strip page. DO NOT laminate the numbers as the clock won’t sit flat. 4. Add glue to the gray strip under number 6 and attach number 7 to make a long strip from 1 to 12. 5. Slip the number strip into the digital clock so that one number at a time can be seen on the clock and the rest of the slip is behind the clock 6. Make a circle from the strip and glue number 1 so it’s under number 12
