Rizhao Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital， Rizhao 276800， China 【Abstract】?Objective?To analyze clinical effect of video-assisted thoracoscope surgery (VATS) in the treatment of spontaneous pneumothorax(SP) and explore clinical application of single hole of video-assisted thoracoscope surgery to find out the better application in clinical. Methods?Retrospective analyzing clinical data of 60 patients with spontaneous pneumothorax surgery， including single hole video-assisted thoracoscope surgery operation 30 cases (group A)， the traditional video-assisted thoracoscope surgery (two holes) group of 30 cases (group B)， the clinical indexes of two groups of patients were compared. Mainly operating time， intraoperative blood loss， chest catheter indwelling time， postoperative hospital stay， and the patients satisfaction survey. Results?The patients of two groups were performed successfully， there was no significant difference on the operation time， intraoperative blood loss， chest catheter indwelling time， postoperative hospital stay and patients’ satisfaction has obvious difference.
