Teaching aims:
Aims on knowledge:
Ss could be able to readunderstand : crept up,screamed, dock, need a
lift,mean dog, girder,crowd, pipe.
Ss can get the main idea: The children wanted Floppy to be Dog of the
Year, but Floppy didn’t want to do tricks.The children went to swim with
Mum.The magic took Floppy to a big city. In the adventure , Floppy saved
the baby, caught the thief, saved the boy,protected the dog and rescued
the man. The children came back, they wanted to train Floppy again,
but Floppy ran into the park and hid inside the giant pipe.
Aims on ability:
Ss could be able to: understand the story and answer the questions,
Q1:What did Floppy do to make him a superdog?
Q2: What else did Floppy do as superdog?
retell the story through the key words,
read the story dramatically and fluently,
Aims on emotion: I’m just me.
Don’t force others to do the thing that they don’t want to do.

Important points:

二、课时安排
每周不少于两课时,1-2个课时完成一个故事。要求学生课前反复听录音跟读。
三、教师要求
1. 教师课前须熟读故事,了解故事内容。
2. 对于较难的单词,教师可板书,并配合动作和表情帮助学生理解。
3. 全英文授课。
四、教学用具
多媒体设备、CD机、课件(课题组提供)。
课堂教学基本步骤:
1 .Duty-report:用时5分钟
2.Pr-reading:导入(Lead-in):观看电影《闪电狗》片段,引入故事。 用时5分钟。
通过播放电影《闪电狗》片段,激发学生兴趣,引出关于super dog的讨论,为进入故事做铺垫。
首先,教师播放视频:
Let’s watch a video.
然后,教师通过提问与学生互动:
What’s this video about?
What did Bolt the dog do in the video?
What do you think of Bolt?
What do you think super dogs can do?
讨论后,通过问题引导过渡到讲故事环节:
Today we are going to learn a new story, Superdog. Who was the super dog in the story? What did he do? Let’s look through the story and find it out.
