Help students master the basic structure of subjunctive mood in if-clauses by using mind maps . Get the students to try to make their own sentences of subjunctive mood in if-clauses by using mind maps . Teaching key points and difficulties: help students to know the structure; get students to know how to make their own sentences of sentences of unreal conditions led by “If”. Teaching procedure: Step 1: Lead-in Ask the students to listen to a song---“If I were a boy” and pay attention to the if-clauses hidden inside. Pre-learning Show several pictures to the students, and ask them to guess the hidden meaning behind the pictures, then ask two students to present in front of the class. While-learning Step 2: Learn for details T: Guide the students to think about the structure of subjunctive mood in if-clauses. Instruct students to draw a mind map.
