The students will be able to understand involving the attributive clauses with that. 2. The students will be able to talk about one’s travel experience. 重难点 1. The students will be able to use the key words according, according to, northeast, sheep, hat, keep, keep sb. /sth. away, diary, keep a diary, hate, ant, brush, brush sth. off sth. in real situations. 2. The students will be able to understand the attributive clauses with that. I have some photos that I took in Australia last year. They wear special hats that keep the flies away. The scissors that they’re holding are used to cut the wool off the sheep. I hated the ants that were all over the place. 教具准备 Multi-media, 师生活动过程 设计意图 Step 1 Lead-in 1. Enjoy a video about Australia to present the topic of this module. 2. Introduce something about Australia like the location, the national flag and famous things. 3. Show the title of Unit 1 and analyse the structure simply. Step 2 Listening 1. A2: Read through the sentences and ask them to listen to the conversation about Australia. 2. Listen again and check their answers. Call back answers from the class and check them with the class. Step 3 Listening and reading 1. A3: Read through the table with the class. Ask Ss to read and complete the table. Check the answers with the class. Say something about the three famous things according to the table. 2. Ask Ss to read the questions in A4 and then read the conversation and answer the questions with their own words. Call back answers from the class. 3. Listen and imitate reading the conversation. 4. Role read the conversation in pairs and try to understand the everyday English. 5. Practise the everyday English by completing the dialogues. (1)A: Let’s read the story together. B: Here we go.
