They also will write Spring Festival couplets, put up New Year paintings, and decorate their houses with lanterns for lighting. All these activities make the festival livelier and more exciting. From the preparations of the dinner, to the decorations and activities, every step of the celebration contributes to the harmony of Chinese people.
