Abstract The main research methods of this paper are documentation and normative analysis. Combined with Chinas e-commerce law, consumer protection law, contract law and other relevant laws, to analyze the legal issues involved in the advanced on demand service of video websites. Combining theoretical derivation and practical application, to discuss the legitimacy and rationality of the advanced on demand service of video websites, and the necessity of improving the regulation of related industries. According to the legislation and industry status, put forward relevant suggestions for the development of the industry, such as Improve relevant laws and regulations, strengthen administrative supervision, strengthen social supervision and so on. This paper is divided into five parts. The first part briefly introduces the emergence and development of video website membership service. The second part present the related cases and analysis of the advanced on demand service of the video website. The third part discusses the standard clauses of video website member user agreement.
