An analysis of the characteristics in the teaching of zither for children Abstract With the gradual improvement of Chinas economic level, the people gradually began to have an interest in art. As a treasure of Chinese musical instruments, guzheng is not only simple and elegant in image, but also beautiful and full of ancient charm. Therefore, it is deeply loved by people and has become the preferred instrument for many parents to learn instrumental music. So far, guzheng has a history of more than 2500 years. It spreads all over the country. It is authentic Chinese traditional music and one of the most popular traditional instruments. In the society, there are seventy-eight year olds and forty-five year olds. Now parents pay more and more attention to quality education and improve their childrens awareness of learning an instrument. Therefore, childrens guzheng learning is more prosperous. According to my more than ten years of playing and learning, I have mastered certain zither playing techniques and accumulated some teaching experience through practice. Based on many years of teaching experience, the author sums up some problems in childrens zither teaching, such as immature physical and mental development, active and inattention, and puts forward corresponding solutions, hoping to play a certain role in promoting the teaching of front-line zither teachers.
