Introduction
Social media plays an important role in influencing supply chain management (Lu et al., 2018). Social media captures information associated with various supply chain processes. The capture of the supply chain event gives a hint on what happens in a certain supply chain sustainability. Social media offers a unique chance to supply chain participants to monitor supply chain process (Tang al et., 2019). In addition, it enables transactions and keep everyone updated on the current situation in the market. The issues such as failed pick up of carrier and delayed shipping can be monitored. Supply chain promotes social sustainability in the society. Social media creates awareness of the impact of the supply chain to the society (Grant, 2016). Due to this, social media users have a role to play on influencing the society. The number of followers will determine the extent of the impact of social media in the society. The report will analyze data and conduct conclusion on the results.
Presentation of Results and Critical Analysis
The data collected include the region of the social media user. The number of social media users was collected to help determine how many social media users are associated with supply chain management. The more the number of social media uses the more the influence of social media on supply chain management. The social media users have followers who see and comment on the matter concerning supply chain and its influence on the social sustainability (Radi and Shokouhyar, 2021). The social media users have influence on the followers and can make the supply chain participants to make changes to their supply chain process for the benefit of the society to improve social sustainability.
