Presentation Show some pictures of persons on the screen, ask Ss what they look like, and lead them to compare by using comparative forms. E.g. What does Yao Ming look like ? Yao Ming is tall. 教学过程 What does Yao Ming look like ? Pan is short. Yao is taller than Pan. Pan is shorter than Yao. Present the sentence pattern: A is/are ....than B. Ss compare with the classmates and make sentences like this: I’m taller than Jim . Jim is thinner than me. Show some comparatives ,ask Ss to find out the rules of the comparative form.
