Anticipatory Set- Ask students if they have any advice to give each other about studying English. - Discuss together any advice that they have received in the past. - Introduce the modal verbs should and shouldnt and begin to display them on the whiteboard.IV. Input- Explain the meaning of should and shouldnt to the class.- Give example sentences of both modal verbs.- Write example sentences on the whiteboard to demonstrate the differences between should and shouldnt.V. Guided Practice- Provide students with a worksheet that has sentences with blanks that they must fill in with either should or shouldnt. - Instruct students to complete the worksheet with a partner.- Go over worksheet answers with the class and discuss any questions they may have.VI.
