Unit 6 In a nature park Part A Let’s talk - Teaching Plan I. Introduction In this lesson, we will be discussing Unit 6, Part A of the PEP English textbook for Grade 5. The lesson focuses on helping students build their listening and speaking skills by discussing the different activities that can be done in a nature park. The target language includes vocabulary related to nature and leisure activities, question words, and simple sentence structures. II. Objectives By the end of this lesson, students should be able to: - Understand and use vocabulary related to nature and leisure activities. - Ask and answer questions using the target language. - Practice speaking skills and improve their pronunciation. - Develop listening skills by listening to conversations related to the topic. - Understand and follow a basic conversation structure. III. Materials Resource PEP English textbook for Grade 5 Whiteboard and markers Blackboard and chalk Flashcards with pictures of different nature and leisure activities Audio recording of the dialogue in Part A IV. Teaching Procedures Step 1: Warm-up Introduction (10 minutes) Greet the students and ask them how they are feeling. Review the previous lesson’s vocabulary related to nature and leisure activities. Introduce the topic for today’s lesson: activities that can be done in a nature park. Use pictures and flashcards to introduce different nature and leisure activities. Step 2: Listening Practice (10 minutes) Play the audio recording of the dialogue in Part A. Ask students to listen carefully and circle the activities they hear in the dialogue. Check the answers as a class. Step 3: Vocabulary Practice (10 minutes) Use the flashcards to drill the new vocabulary in the dialogue.
