教案 执教者:黄莲洁 教材:外研版英语八年级上册 课题:Module4 Unit1 He lives the farthest from school. 教学手段:PPT, audio, textbook, chalk. 重难点:the superlative degree; listening and reading comprehension 学习目标: 1) To be able to ask and answer questions about transportation and travel; 2) To be able to understand the conversation about the ways of going to school; 3) To improve safety awareness. 教学内容: Step1. Lead-in Show students the title: Module4 Unit1 He lives the farthest from school. Introduce the learning aims. Step2 Warm-up Play a game: the teacher shows some pictures and students try to speak out their names as quickly as possible. Ask students two questions: If you have a chance to travel, how will you get there? Why? List some adjectives they need to make their dialogues. Work in pairs. Ask and answer the questions. Ask three students to present their answers. Step3 Revision Show students some adjectives on PPT and lead students to change these words into superlative adjectives. Ask one student to help these words go to the right pumpkin on the blackboard. Teach students to read them. Step4 Listening Ask students to match the pictures with the words in Activity1. Check the answers together. Ask students to listen to the tape and match the words in Box1 with the words in Box2. Listen again. Ask one student to show his answer. Listen and check. Step5 Reading Lead students to listen to the tape and read after it. Show three houses on PPT. Ask students to read the conversation quickly and find out whose home they are. Check. Show students four questions: How did Betty go to school today? Why was the traffic very heavy today? Which way does Betty choose at last, taxi or bike? Does her mother finally agree with her? Ask students to read the conversation carefully and write down the answers. Ask four students to show their answers. Check. Step6. Emotional theme Tell students the advantages these vehicles take. (They make our world smaller and smaller and we are getting closer and closer.
