农村英语教学的问题与改革策略研究——以浏阳南区中小学为例的中期报告
Abstract:
This mid-term report is based on a study of the problems and reform strategies of rural English teaching, taking the primary and secondary schools in the southern area of Liuyang as an example. The report analyzes the current situation of English teaching in rural areas, summarizes the problems and challenges faced by rural schools in English teaching, and puts forward feasible reform strategies to improve the effectiveness of English teaching in rural areas.
Introduction:
With the rapid development of society and the economy, the importance of English in people’s daily lives has become increasingly prominent. As a result, the demand for high-quality English courses and teachers has increased dramatically. English teaching in rural areas has many problems and challenges that need to be addressed. This report aims to analyze the problems and reform strategies of English teaching in rural areas, and provide suggestions to improve the effectiveness of English teaching in primary and secondary schools in the southern area of Liuyang.
Current situation of English teaching in rural areas:
English teaching in rural areas faces many challenges. Firstly, the quality of teachers in rural areas lags behind that of urban areas. Many teachers lack professional training and face difficulties in mastering modern teaching paradigms. Second, the opportunities for students to practice their English are limited, which hinders the improvement of their practical language skills. Third, the teaching facilities and resources in rural schools are far from great, and the lack of good resources makes it difficult to cultivate students’ interest in English learning.
Problems faced by rural schools in English teaching:
