俘获离子激发的高频内扭曲模的研究的中期报告 Abstract This report summarizes the progress made in the study of high frequency inner twisting modes excited by trapped ions in a tokamak plasma during the period from February to August 2021. The research focused on the experimental and theoretical studies of the modes and their effects on the plasma. Significant advances have been made in understanding the physics of the modes and their potential applications in plasma control. Experimental studies The experimental studies of high frequency inner twisting modes were carried out on the DIII-D tokamak using a variety of diagnostics. One of the most important results achieved during this period was the detailed measurement of the mode structure using a set of newly developed magnetic sensors. These measurements provided valuable information on the spatial distribution of the mode amplitude, phase, and polarization. In addition, the temporal characteristics of the modes were studied using fast time-resolved diagnostics. The results showed that the modes exhibit complex dynamics, with a clear dependence on the plasma parameters. The experimental studies also included investigations of the effects of the modes on the plasma, such as their influence on turbulence and transport. Theoretical studies The theoretical studies of high frequency inner twisting modes focused on developing a comprehensive understanding of the underlying physics and identifying potential applications of the modes in plasma control. A variety of theoretical models were developed to describe the modes, including magneto-hydrodynamic (MHD) models, kinetic models, and hybrid models. These models were used to study the stability of the modes, their growth rates, and their effects on plasma transport. In addition, the theoretical studies aimed to identify ways to control and manipulate the modes through external actuators, such as plasma heating and current drive. Conclusion In conclusion, significant progress has been made in the
