肺结核患者血清骨桥蛋白及白细胞介素-12水平检测及意义的中期报告.docx

肺结核患者血清骨桥蛋白及白细胞介素-12水平检测及意义的中期报告 (英文回答) Mid-term Report on the Detection and Significance of Serum Osteopontin and Interleukin-12 in Patients with Pulmonary Tuberculosis Objectives: To investigate the levels and significance of serum osteopontin (OPN) and interleukin-12 (IL-12) in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB). Methods: Serum samples were collected from 39 PTB patients and 30 healthy controls. The levels of OPN and IL-12 were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Statistical analyses were performed to assess the differences in OPN and IL-12 levels between PTB patients and healthy controls, and to examine the correlation between these levels and clinical parameters, including disease severity and treatment outcomes. Results: The levels of OPN and IL-12 were significantly higher in PTB patients compared to healthy controls (p0.01 for both). The levels of OPN were positively correlated with the extent of tuberculosis lesions on chest radiographs (p0.05), while the levels of IL-12 were negatively correlated with disease severity (p0.05). During the follow-up, PTB patients with normal OPN levels showed better treatment outcomes compared to those with high OPN levels. The same trend was observed for IL-12 levels but the difference was not statistically significant. Conclusions: These findings suggest that serum OPN and IL-12 levels may be useful indicators for the diagnosis and monitoring of PTB. Elevated levels of OPN may reflect disease severity and poorer treatment outcomes, while elevated levels of IL-12 may indicate a better response to treatment. Further studies with larger sample sizes and longitudinal follow-up are needed to confirm these findings.
