Teaching plan for appositive clause
Good afternoon, everyone, It’s my great honor to be here to share my lesson with
you.The content of my lesson is grammar in this unit, which is concerned with the
appositive clause. I’ll be ready to begin this lesson from 4 parts. Analysis of the
teaching material, the teaching methods, the studying methods, the teaching
procedure,and Blackboard design.First, let me talk about the teaching material.
Part 1 Teaching Material:
Grammar in this unit is about appositive clause. By studying of this unit, we’ll
Enable the students to know the definition of appositive clause, the usage of
appositive clause and the difference between the attributive clause and the appositive
clause. In this lesson, it starts asking the Ss to analyze some noun clauses and find the
rules of noun clauses. Then I will introduce the definition of appositive clause to the
students. If the Ss can learn it well, it will be helpful to make the Ss learn the rest of
grammar about noun clause.As we all know, noun clause, especially the objective
clause and the appositive clause are of great importance to the students in the exam.
According to the new standard curriculum and the syllabus, after studying the
teaching material and analyzing the rules of children’s growing of mind,I think the
teaching aims are the followings:
1.Knowledge objects:
a)The Ss can recognize the appositive clause.
b)The Ss can master the leading words in the appositive clause.
c)The Ss can use appositive clauses to write in their composition.
Ability objects:
(1) To develop the Ss’ abilities of doing exercises and writing.
(2) To train the Ss’ ability of working in pairs.
(3) To enhance Ss ability of grammar learning.
3.Emotion or moral objects:
