【说课稿】Good morning, everyone! Today I am going to present a lesson about designing a robot in Unit 2, Topic 3, Section B in our textbook, Renai English Grade 9, Book 1. This lesson is designed for Grade 9 students. The topic of this lesson is Robots in Our Life. In this section, students will learn how to describe the function and appearance of a robot they have designed using simple and compound sentences.Now, lets start with a brief introduction of the teaching materials. In this lesson, we will focus on designing a robot, which allows students to be creative and imaginative. We will introduce new vocabulary related to robot parts, practice forming simple and compound sentences using adjectives, and finally, students will have a speaking activity where they can present their designed robots to their classmates.To achieve the teaching objectives, I have designed the following teaching procedures:Step 1: Lead-in and pre-readingBegin the lesson by showing some pictures of famous robots, such as R2-D2 or Wall-E, and ask students what they know about robots. Encourage them to share their ideas and experiences related to robots. Then, introduce the topic by saying, Today, we are going to design our own robots. What kind of robot would you like to have? Lets find out together.Step 2: Vocabulary buildingIntroduce key vocabulary related to robot parts by using flashcards or pictures. Teach the names and functions of different robot parts, such as sensors, processors, and actuators. Use real-life examples to help students understand their functions. Students can also practice pronunciation and spelling of the new words.Step 3: Grammar practiceReview the formation of simple sentences using adjectives to describe appearance and functions of the robot. For example, My robot has shiny metal arms and can clean the house. Then, introduce compound sentences using and to describe two functions of the robot. Model some examples, su
