Aims And Objectives of the study • To the idence of intraspinal anomalies in different types of congenital deformities. • Study the association of intraspinal anomalies with student’s , type of bony anomaly, curve characteristics, region of deformity to establish best predictors of the clinically relevant abnormality of the central nervous system. SICOT-2015 SASMCT Materials and Methods •152school going student amined during period of 2007 to 2014 •121clinico-radiologically investigated • lusion – Age 0-18yrs congenital spinal etiopathologies (diagnosed by clinical or radiological) •Exclusion – syndromic students 18 yrs age other etiopathologies (infective/ traumatic etc) SASMCT SICOT-2015 Distribution of Study •Females 66/106 (62.26%) •Males 40/106 (37.24%) •Bony anomalies 77 (72.64%) F- 57 (74.03%) M-20 (25.97%) •Cord anomalies 67 (63.20%) F-43 (64.17%) M- 24 (35.82%) •Mean age 9.82 years (3yr-16yr) •Diagnosed after clinical, radiological (x-ray, MRI, SOS CT) examination.
