ThisstandardisissuedundertheﬁxeddesignationD7201;thenumberimmediatelyfollowingthedesignationindicatestheyearof

originaladoptionor,inthecaseofrevision,theyearoflastrevision.Anumberinparenthesesindicatestheyearoflastreapproval.A

superscriptepsilon(´)indicatesaneditorialchangesincethelastrevisionorreapproval.

1.Scopespeciﬁcpurposeofsamplingandcountingairborneﬁbersin

1.1Thispractice2describesthedeterminationofthecon-minesandquarries(PracticeD7200),althoughthepractice

centrationofﬁbers,expressedasthenumberofsuchﬁbersperhereinmayalsobeusedforthispurpose.Thecurrentpractice
