Thebi-directionalNetworkAudioInterfaceshallprovideupto32inputand32outputchannelsofinterconnectivityfromtheDantenetworktotheAvidProTools|HD,ProTools|HDNativeandProTools|HDXplatforms.ConnectivityshallincludeoneprimaryDigiLinkconnector,andoneexpansionDigiLinkconnector.ExternalmasterwordclockinandoutshallbeviaBNCconnectors.LoopSyncinandoutshallbeviaBNCconnectors.TheInterfaceshallhaveuser-selectablesampleratesof44.1kHz,48kHz,88.2kHz,96kHzand192kHz.

ThesystemshalluseJetPLLtechnologytominimizeconversionjitter.LEDfrontpanelindicatorsshalldisplaythestatusofPowerandNetworkconnections,SyncLockstatus,SampleRate,Modeindicatorsforprimaryandexpansionmodes,andinputandoutputlevels.TheNetworkAudioInterfaceshallbecontainedina2RUindustrialpackagedesignedforfixedinstallationinengineeredaudioandcommunicationssystems.Dimensionsshallbe482.6x247x89mm(19”Wx9.74”Dx3.5”H).Itshallweigh4.6kg(10.14lbs).Maximumpowerconsumptionshallbe30VA.

TheNetworkAudioInterfaceshallutilizetheDanteProtocolfortransportofdigitalaudiosignals.Thesystemshallbecapableoftransportingupto512bidirectionalaudiochannelsoverasingle,standardGigabit(orhigher)Ethernetlink.Softwareshallbeprovidedfortherouting,controlling,andconfiguringtheNetworkAudioInterface.Softwareshallprovideremotecontrolofemulationmode,selectionofpreferredmasterclock,andsamplerate.Ethernetconnectivityshallbethrougharearpanel8p8c/RJ45LANport.

EthernetcommunicationsshallbeutilizedforsoftwarecontrolandInterfaceconfiguration.DantetechnologyshalltransportdigitalaudiooverfastEthernet,allowingmultipleunitstosharedigitalaudio.TheNetworkAudioInterfaceshallrequireconnectiontoanexternal100Base-Tor1GigabitEthernetswitch.AllDanteandEthernetconnectionsshallbeviaC
