Thebi-directionalNetworkAudioInterfaceshallprovideupto16inputand16outputchannelsofconnectivitybetweendigitalaudiodevicesutilizingtheAES/EBUandS/PDIFformatsandtheDantenetwork.Connectivityshallinclude16AES/EBUinputsandoutputsviatwo25wayfemaleDsubconnectorswiredtoAES59standard,2S/PDIFinputsviaRCAconnector,and2S/PDIFoutputsviaRCAconnector.TheInterfaceshallbecapableofsyncingtointernalwordclock,localclocksourceincludingAESinput1,S/PDIFinput,oranexternalmasterwordclock.ExternalmasterwordclockinandoutshallbeviaBNCconnectors.TheInterfaceshallhaveuser-selectablesampleratesof44.1kHz,48kHz,88.2kHz,96kHz,176.4kHzand192kHz(-4%/-0.1%/+0.1%/+4.167%).

TheNetworkAudioInterfaceshallprovideredundantnetworkconnections,withtheabilitytohaveredundantandswitchednetworkmodestorunaredundantconnectionordaisy-chaindevicestogether.

ThesystemshalluseJetPLLtechnologytominimizeconversionjitter.LEDfrontpanelindicatorsshalldisplaythestatusofPowerandNetworkconnections,SyncLockstatus,SampleRate,anddataactivityforeachgroupof8digitalinputsandoutputs.TheNetworkAudioInterfaceshallbecontainedina1RUindustrialpackagedesignedforfixedinstallationinengineeredaudioandcommunicationssystems.Dimensionsshallbe482.6x263x45.5mm(19”Wx10.35”Dx1.752”H).Itshallweigh3.74kg(8.25lbs).Maximumpowerconsumptionshallbe30VA.

TheNetworkAudioInterfaceshallutilizetheDanteProtocolfortransportofdigitalaudiosignals.Thesystemshallbecapableoftransportingupto512bidirectionalaudiochannelsoverasingle,standardGigabit(orhigher)Ethernetlink.Softwareshallbeprovidedfortherouting,controlling,andconfiguringtheNetworkAudioInterface.Softwareshallprovideremotecontrolofreferencelevel,selectionofpreferredmasterclock,andsamplerate.Eth
